Dr. Jeff Meldrum is possibly the best person around as far as bigfoot footprint research goes. He is a Full Professor of Anatomy and Anthropology and a Professor of the Department of Anthropology at Idaho State University. Meldrum is also Adjunct Professor of Occupational and Physical Therapy. Meldrum is an expert on foot morphology and locomotion in primates. He is also possibly one of the most respected researches in the bigfoot community.

Even with all of the sightings that have been reported it is possibly the footprint casts that invoke the best of our imaginations. They present possibly the best evidence out there without having to kill a Bigfoot. With all of the variations in footprint casts that have been seen there is possibly a very diverse set of creatures out there. Possibly even as diverse as we are. No one knows how many there are, IF they are, but with all of the evidence that has been found over the centuries and all the reports from so many cultures it definitly needs a much better study done. Far more research is needed so that we may prove whether or not Bigfoot is real, WITHOUT killing one so that we can understand them and protect them.
