Sisters find footprints and hear whistles

Location information and directions to site:  Through fort hunter Liggett to las padres national forest to an area called " the Indians" pick up map at department of forestry in King City, Calif.

What Happened:  My sister and myself were at the creek hiking just north of the formation. We stepped into the dry Creek bed because it was easy walking.part of the sand was damp and we noticed large footprints going in a northerly direction. I put my heel next to print heel and my sister put her heel at the top of my foot and the large foot print was 2 or 3 inches longer than both of ours. My shoe was 7 1/2 and hers was 8 1/2. The depth looked to be 2 inches deep ours only 1/4 of an inch if that. We thought the distance between foot prints was rather long but didn't measure them. Around the same time years we heard very loud whistles and I would do it back. I can whistle very loud. We just thought it was a person . we were the only one there. No other cars or people. Two other times some bushes rattled or shook and we thought it was quail. Anyway the prints were perfect footprints and we could see them going up the creek but didn't follow. We did wonder how they managed to deal with all the stickers and sharp rocks

Environment and landmarks:  11 am and Sunny. Sandstone formations on left of road and a large creek is behind that.

Women has close sighting while walking

Location information and directions to site:  Left on 49 at Oakhurst. 7 mi. To 601 turn right on nip rd. One mile up on left across from yellow house

What Happened: I was jog- walking up nip rd. and heard someone in the trees copying my step. I shuffled my feet back and forth so they couldn't copy me and they laughed about it. I turned towards them and said I know your there I can hear you. They stepped out from behind the pine trees into a small clearing but was facing sideways to me. The head and neck were concealed up in the pine branches about 10 feet up I could see all the rest of it. Extremely long black hair very clean no bad smell. I assumed it was a female. She held very still. She appeared very gental no aggretion what so ever. I was 6 feet away and said OMG!! I turned to see how far the nearest house was so I could go in. Not to far 20 feet ahead. After words I felt bad because I felt she may have wanted to communicate. Many after thoughts came to me I believe she saw me clearing brush behind our house and was curious. She was the biggest female animal I have ever seen. 9 to 10 feet tall and weighed at least a 1000 lbs. I compared her weight to our agnus bull. Very beautiful

Environment and landmarks:  About 5:00 pm. Sunny

Women has possible sighting and vocalizations

Location information and directions to site:  Hiking trail to Saddleback ridge .across from Mt. Rainier.

What Happened: The person I went there with went up the trail and I stayed at a giant blueberry bush in between two pine trees. The incident was about 20 min. long. I started hearing a person on the other side of the bush saying umm! umm! umm! In an up and down volume quite loud with it mouth full of berries. I tried looking through the bush which was maybe 6 or 7 feet tall and could only see something dark. I briefly thought a bear but it sounded like a person. I said something out loud and it got very quiet. I continued to eat and the bush shook gently and I said I'm not leaving! Then the bush shook bigger and the person on the other side was mumbling as it shook the bush like it had a mouth full of berries and couldn't speak correctly. I thought darn I better go find my friend so I grabbed a few more berries and walked down to the trail. When my friend met up with me I think some hikers came down at the same time. I was telling him what happened and they all yelled, Bigfoot! I was stunned. We walked back to the car and I noticed no one went looking for the bush shaker.

Environment and landmarks:  It was heavily forested with hills and ravines and hiking trail was wide. Could see lodge and mountain from location of incident.

Man hears possible Bigfoot walking

Location information and directions to site:  Wooded hills and fields Southeast of Downsville.

What Happened: While deer hunting in November 1986 I was sitting listing for deer. I heard and saw a deer run nearby me like it was scared of something as it's tail was up indicating it was scared of something. It was running fast enough where I could not get a shot at it. Then I heard footfalls of something on 2 legs but I looked around and didn't see anything. I knew it wasn't my ex-father-in-law because he was in a different area than I was. Then it went silent. No bird sounds or anything. Then I heard my ex-father-in-law shout for me to come for lunch from the road above me and I could see him. I asked him if he had come though near where I was and he said no that he had only just come from where he was sitting.I didn't think anything more about it and only just remembered it.

Environment and landmarks:  It was about lunch time and cloudy.

Group hears baby crying while camping

Location information and directions to site: Humbug campground state park

What Happened: Was tent camping at humbug state park in Oregon on a week day in September. Only myself and my mother and two young couples across the dirt road and from out of state. Sometime in the early morning around 2 or 4 am a crying baby woke me up. I was in a thin tent so it was very loud. It cried for about 20 minutes and I wondered why the young couple didn't attend to their baby. It finally got quiet and I went back to sleep. Got up at about 7am to fix coffee and the young couple got up as well and we all stared at each other with scorn over the loud and lusty baby crying in the middle of the night. All of sudden they realized we were to old to have a baby and I looked for a baby camping with them and they didn't have one. They didn't even have a dog. As we left the campgrounds I didn't see anyone else. I ask the park ranger if someone came in late at night and he said you and the other campers were the only campers. I told him a baby cried for about twenty min. and woke everyone up. He became speechless and tried to say something to me but decided to say nothing so I stuck my arm out the window and wave at him and drove off down the road.

Witnesses: My mother but she's hard of hearing

Environment and landmarks:  2 to 4 am nice weather very dark.

Women finds tracks in cave

Location information and directions to site:  Los Padres national Forest. Go through military base.

What Happened:  After crossing onto national Forest from military base go past the sandstone formation on the left. About 1/2 mile on right side of road there are more sandstone rock formations. The small one with a cave is not visible from the road. Sand and dirt form a walkway up to the small cave. At the time a giant poison oak bush covered the entrance. The path forms an upside down horseshoe trail up and then down. Behind the Poison oak bush is a long narrow over hang. I climbed up the right side and used a stick to move aside the Poison oak. On the floor of the cave is powdery sand. I was looking down an noticed large baby foot prints. I looked for adult prints on the way up and down the trail and found nothing. I thought who would let their baby come up here alone near all this poison oak! I heard a loud ruckus in the bushes but thought it was ground squirrels. I did not smell anything and the only sound was the rattling of the poison oak bush.

Environment and landmarks:   Day, Forest and sandstone formation.

Woman sees something cross road.

Location information and directions to site: Humbug campground state park

While driving south on AR 7, I saw what I initially believed was a person crossing the road in the distance. As I got closer, I looked into the trees expecting to see someone, but no one was there. The foliage at this time hasn't filled in the view into the woods so I could see a long way into the trees. What stood out was the way it moved—it had a broad frame and was traveling quickly across very steep terrain, faster than I believe a human could manage in that environment. The other item of interest was that it was not walking parallel with the road but came from a steep area on the left side of the road and went on up the other side of the road which was also steep and never slowed its pace. It didn’t seem unusually tall, which is partly why I dismissed it at first. But the speed and direction through such rugged ground just didn’t add up, and it’s left me genuinely puzzled.

Environment and landmarks:  between 5:30 and 6 pm nice weather - Daylight.
